"If I can't run I have to do something!...Dusted my ruck off, and kinda took off! Mentally that was my turning point, 'I'm going to be strong again, I'm good!' It was as simple as putting my back pack on and putting miles on my feet....It sounds crazy, it is so much more than putting a backpack on." - Becca

As a lake loving, concert attending, rucking/running woman, Becca was hit with the news too many of us receive, cancer. To make a story short, she kicked cancer's ass!! Listen to the episode for more details of her perseverance and strength.

Mom to a teen, loving wife, sour-candy-loving-human, Becca loves how approachable rucking is for all bodies. You can start walking now and add a weight once you've got some "miles on your feet". Life can get weird and our bodies yearn for movement to heal us. Heed the intuitive whispers!!

To join Becca for a walk to remember those who aren't with us due to cancer, walk or ruck where ever you are in the world on Sunday, October 13th, 2024 for an 18 miler, or however many miles you can do. 18 is the number of days she received chemo and was a pact she made with her fellow sisters who were also going through treatment. Sadly, none of them are with us today so she walks to honor and remember them, and remember how fortunate she is to be here. This is a gratitude practice we can all embody, how fortunate we are to be above ground, able to make choices, move our bodies, and do good in the world.
